Our client is a global leader in nondestructive testing (NDT) solutions for the critical inspection needs of industries such as Aerospace, Oil and Gas, Power Generation and Heavy Industry and Manufacturing. They manufacture measuring and controlling devices and offer software, sensors, nondestructive testing, and mechanical systems. They are currently seeking a direct hire Electronic Assembler for their facility in Snoqualmie, WA.

Location: Snoqualmie, WA
Hours: 6am – 2:30pm - Overtime optional
Days : Mon-Fri
Length: Direct Hire
Pay: $21-$23/hr

Summary: Performs a variety of production electrical and mechanical assembly and inspection operations at a basic to intermediate level.
Essential Job Functions: Wire, solder, and assemble fabricated components to make electrical and mechanical assemblies.
Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements.
Assist with repairs to assemblies that fail to meet requirements.
Utilize established Best-Known Methods on assigned product lines.
Meet established build time and quality standards on basic and intermediate tasks.
Follow assembly work instructions, drawings, quality assurance procedures, and directives from department leads.
Report problems with work instructions, procedures, mechanical parts, electrical continuity, or anything else negatively affecting quality to the Lead or Supervisor.
Organize and complete work assignments in a timely manner, limiting unproductive time.
Seek to improve skill set and learn new assembly methods.
Contribute improvement ideas and respond to change productively. May provide input for work instructions.
Maintain department cleanliness.
Follow all company safety policies and Quality Assurance requirements.
Overtime as required.
Other duties as required in support of the department and the company.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Ability to assemble and solder small components utilizing a microscope.
Ability to accurately identify components.
Able to conduct precise measurements.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, handling frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.
Excellent hand/eye coordination and dexterity.
Strong mechanical aptitude for use of tools in production operations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions and wiring drawings, etc. that are written in English.
Basic problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Must be detail oriented, accurate and methodical.
Education/Experience: High school graduate or equivalent degree preferred, or related work history experience accepted.
Minimum one (1) year assembly experience, including one (1) year of soldering experience in a manufacturing facility preferred.
Previous experience soldering under a microscope highly preferred.
Certifications: Soldering or Electronic Assembly certificate from a vocational technical institute is desired. Additional notes on benefits: Medical – 3 different plans to choose from, Vision, Dental and Life Insurance
