As an Electrician in Racine, Wisconsin, you will: provide functional support to install and maintain electrical work on plant electrical systems and equipment; install and maintain electrical work on plant electrical systems and equipment with minimum supervision; use ladders, raised platforms, caged lifts, and climb on equipment at various heights up to and including 40 feet; plan, layout and install complex wiring circuits and distribution centers in conformance with established codes; install switches and controls, central subsidiary control panels, electronic devices and all other duties incidental to installation; diagnose and remedy all electrical, electronic and mechanical troubles; work from wiring, hydraulic, pneumatic schematic drawings and code book; complete all required paperwork, quality records, documents; comply with all safety and work rules and regulations and NFPA70E requirements, and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.
QUALIFICATIONS State of Wisconsin Indentured Electrical Apprenticeship and an additional four (4) years of electrical journeyman experience OR State of Wisconsin Electrical Industrial Journeyman License required Valid driver's license required GED or High School diploma required SKILLS AND VALUES Capable of working independently and as a team member Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity Excellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindset Curiosity, problem solving, and analytical thinking Effective verbal and written communication Desire to work on a variety of projects BENEFITS AND PERKS
