The Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES is accepting applications for an Applied Electrical Technology Teacher in our Career and Technical Education Program . This position requires the applicant to have in-depth, comprehensive knowledge of the installation, maintenance, identification and repair/replacement of electrical wiring and related electrical equipment in commercial and/or residential buildings. The successful candidate must possess or be eligible for NYS Certification as a Career and Technical Teacher in Electrical 7-12. Industry professionals are encouraged to apply!

The Career & Technical Education (CTE) program at Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES provides students with the academic and technical skills, knowledge, and training necessary to succeed in future careers. The Applied Electrical Technology Program allows students to learn in work settings on campus and at off-campus construction and restoration sites. The teacher will help students develop job readiness skills relative to the applied electrical occupations, including strong work ethic and employability, theory, and technical skills.
