Description:
Resource must be on-site to execute work, which requires traveling to multiple MBTA sites in Boston, MA, mainly focused on the Red and Orange Lines.
· Member of Boston Local Worker Union, preferably Local 103- Electrical Workers
· Work experience on Electrical tools like Track Sniffer, Scope meter, Shunting, multimeter
· Knowledgeable on Computer and Network systems: Windows, WireShark, SSH, telnet.
· Experience in working on field environments, train control rooms or bungalows, wayside tracks.
· Experience in executing tests on switch machines, track circuits (PF and AF), signals, microprocessors
· (VPI, Microlok and/or Electrologix)
· Knowledgeable on Signaling systems: Signaling principles, Troubleshooting, Software installation, Log
· retrieval
