Location: Charlotte, NC
Salary: $60K-$90K, depending on experience

About Us:

As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate estimates and supporting the completion of various projects in a timely manner. From participating in marketing efforts to maintaining relationships with clients and vendors, you'll be an integral part of our team.
Responsibilities:
-Conduct estimating activities safely and efficiently
-Generate proposals and communicate with customers and clients
-Coordinate engineering efforts and estimate costs
-Attend pre-bid meetings and provide estimates for projects
-Manage, lead, and mentor subordinates
-Review bid documents and coordinate with the project management team
-Perform take-offs and enter data into estimating software
-Actively engage in marketing efforts to further company goals
-Assume additional duties as directed
Requirements:
-Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, Business Management, or equivalent experience
-Five years of operational experience in estimating, with at least two years of electrical trade experience.
-For Senior level, minimum of seven years of experience in estimating, with at least two years of electrical trade experience.
-Ability to review subcontractor and vendor bids and evaluate proposals
-Proficiency in reading construction documents, drawings, and specifications
-Basic understanding of the construction process
-Knowledge of MS Office programs and general computer skills
-Ability to work with minimal supervision and take direction effectively
