Michael Baker International is hiring an Electrical Engineering Intern for our 2023 spring/summer program. Positions are based in our Hamilton and Newark, NJ offices within the Electrical Group with a focus on transportation infrastructure projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids Assist project managers and engineers with various tasks Draft details and make minor ACAD revisions Work under the supervision of a project manager or a senior level team member Assist with data collection, input, verification and manipulation PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS Currently enrolled in good academic standing and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at an accredited University or College; minimum of 1 year of coursework completed Minimum 3.0 GPA College level engineering courses in Civil Engineering with a focus in Electrical Engineering design Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CADD software COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $10 - $23 per hour. This will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.
