Summary Using AutoCAD Electrical, prepare electrical schematics from I/O list and part list assuring completeness and accuracy. In addition, perform lay out, assembly and wiring of electrical panels. Assist in debugging and installation of machine and/or process control systems.
Primary Responsibilities and Job Duties Draw electrical schematics using proper design practices Prepare parts lists, bills of material and order parts Lay out and wire electrical panels according to schematics and customer specifications Create wire lists, wire bundles and label using good workmanship practices Perform basic testing of electrical systems. Special assignments as requested Working knowledge of NFPA, NEC and UL codes. Will provide UL 508A training. Qualifications A 2 year degree in electronics, electricity or related area, or at least 4 years of relevant experience. A minimum of one year of experience with PC-based software such as Word and Excel. Ability to draw electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical software. Ability to us AutoCad Inventor for back panel and enclosure layouts. Experience in machine wiring and panel wiring/layout. Experience using powered hand tools and electrical instruments including soldering iron, voltmeters, drills, saws, etc. Ability to travel to customer facilities for design, installation and service-related activities. To comply with some state laws, the annual base salary range for this position has been provided. The range given is broad and should be considered as a guideline only. Our client will consider a candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, the salaries of current employees in similar roles, and other factors when extending an offer.
