Summary:
Wirtz Manufacturing is looking to add an Electrical/Controls Engineer who is ready to work in a fast paced setting. We are looking for a person who is focused, ambitious, and ready to work in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities:
At Wirtz Manufacturing, our Electrical/Controls Engineers are frequently tasked with the following assignments:
Design electrical/controls schematics using AutoCAD
Program state of the art industrial equipment
Troubleshoot customer machines around the world
Work closely with mechanical engineers to develop new ideas and designs
Travel (domestic & international) to commission, troubleshoot, and learn new techniques
Develop robotic work cells and integrate robotics with other technologies
Participate in team projects and activities related to development or improvement of products

Preferred Qualifications:
B.S. or M.S. Engineering Degree
Proven electrical and controls background with the ability to troubleshoot and correct
Desire to travel
Experience with Allen Bradley, and/or Siemens programming software
Machine PLC and HMI Programming
