Electrical Controls Engineer Location: Mobile: AL Salary: $130,000- $150,000 Plus Annual Bonus Qualified Candidates MUST have a BS- Electrical Engineering with no less than 8 years of industry work experience Job Summary:
Design, implement and maintain complex automation, controls, and electrical systems for industrial and
commercial.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Software Development and configuration of Plant DCS and PLC systems on new Capital Projects
• Support of plant optimization efforts requiring modification to control systems
• Responsible for maintenance and upgrades to plant control systems
• Control loop design, selection and sizing of instruments and control equipment
• Help support plant electrical and power distribution systems
Required Skills/Abilities:
• In depth knowledge of and experience designing/maintaining industrial control
systems.
• In-depth knowledge of and experience designing industrial electrical systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to effectively interface with production
groups
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Project), AutoCAD, EasyPower or related
software preferred.
• Desired system experience: Yokogawa Centum VP, Rockwell Automation products, Melsec PLC,
Siemens PLC's
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's in electrical engineering and 8+ years of experience in industrial controls or equivalent
combination of experience and education.
