Job summary
DAVIS Construction is seeking an Environmental Health + Safety EngineerIdentify and eliminate hazards on project sitesPerform routine inspections and assist with safety compliance
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Perform routine walk through inspections of construction areas• Assemble and deliver project start up safety packages• Assist with determining project signage and posting needs• Participate in project prestart safety review• Review Monthly Project EHS Assessment• Record man-hours worked each week• Compile open issues reports and communication• Participate in OSHA Inspection• Conduct accident investigations and prepare documentation• Work with subcontractors to ensure safety compliance• Assist with onsite education and training initiatives
Requirements
• Current First Aid, CPR and AED certification• Safety Trained Supervisor Certification or equivalent• OSHA 30 and OSHA 500 certifications• 2 years hands-on experience in Construction• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health + Safety Sciences preferred• Proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
Key Skills Needed
