Job summary
Join us in becoming the premier die casting manufacturer and engineering solutions supplier worldwide.The role of the EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) Coordinator is responsible for identifying applicable EHS regulations and risks while interacting with Operations, HR, Accounting, Sales, and Corporate Health & Safety to implement acceptable systems to ensure compliance and conformance to EHS Policies and Management Systems and programs.Responsibilities: Formulates and trains employees in general EHS policies and procedures, communicates and documents regulatory requirements and compliance, collaborates with internal and external groups regarding process changes impacting EHS, maintains facility EHS performance records and reports performance to site management, provides coaching and technical support to facility management teams, participates in the investigation of accidents and injuries, conducts EHS inspections and implements corrective actions, facilitates EHS committee meetings, works with other departments to identify and correct EHS findings.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Requirements
• 4-year college degree, plus 2 years related experience and/or training, and 12 to 18 months related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of known variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats.• Considerable responsibility regarding general assignments in planning time, method, manner, and/or sequence of performance of own work; may also occasionally assist in the planning of work assignments performed by others within a limited area of operation.• Performs work operations which permit frequent opportunity for decision-making of minor importance and frequent opportunity for decision-making of major importance, either of which would affect the work operations of small organizational component and the organization's clientele.

• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, from production associates to senior leaders.• Ability to function as a team player and be comfortable leading without authority.• Ability to build credibility and trust.• Ability to influence leaders and change their paradigms.• Must be proficient with the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Minitab statistical analysis software.
