Identify and assist Participants who have potential to succeed in higher education.Assess the qualifications of referred students and determine eligibility for participation in the ETS Project.Collect academic and personal information on referred students.

Responsibilities
• Maintain data and records of all services provided to Participants in the Project.• Assist in arranging, coordinating, and/or conducting activities necessary for achieving the Project's objectives.• Prepare, submit, and respond to all requests by the ETS Director for record keeping.• Provide mandatory services to ETS Participants in their respective schools regularly.• Make Parent/Teacher contacts on behalf of the ETS Participant as necessary.• Maintain positive relationships between WPCC and BCPS staff, as well as other local agencies.• Ability to work flexible hours during specific programming events that take place outside of the normal workday, including travel and extended overnight trip activities.• Personal travel utilizing one's own vehicle is necessary at times as well as some overnight travel for staff development.• Perform other duties as needed, e.g. supervise groups in cultural, career and educational exploration opportunities, etc. at the direction of the ETS Director.
Requirements
• Education, background, and/or training equivalent to a bachelor's degree required.• Professional experience in student development preferred.• Demonstrated commitment to the goals of the Project preferred.• Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.• Demonstrated ability to relate well to people of all ages, races, and socioeconomic backgrounds.• Ability to exercise discretion and judgment in handling confidential material required.• Valid NC Driver's license required.
