Responsibilities
• Works with the Team Leader and fellow members of the Team in support of all partnerships and programs• Maintains active, clear, and respectful communication with community and university participants and partners• Collaborates with fellow Team members to enhance and support planning, implementation, and evaluation efforts across direct education programs• Supports planning and achievement of general program objectives• Strives for all engagement and educational sessions to be age appropriate, culturally relevant, and representative• Supports coordination and delivery of orientation and developmental training• Assists fellow team members in identifying and implementing opportunities for collaborating with partners• Attends consistent team meetings• Completes required reports• Supports the development and supervision of UConn student staff, student interns, and student volunteers
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in dietetics, community nutrition, public health, education, social work, sport management, or a related field• Three years of related experience as an educational program leader working with youth, families, and/or adults• Skill in implementing equity-focused principles and practices• Demonstrated experience coordinating school-based, afterschool, and/or community-based partnerships• Demonstrated experience in the development of curricular objectives, lesson planning, educational program delivery, and related evaluation• Demonstrated experience with staff development, knowledge-sharing, training, and workshop facilitation• Proficiency speaking and writing in English
