Responsibilities This postdoctoral research position will assist with the conceptualization and implementation of a randomized controlled trial of a secondary-level intervention in statistics and probability. This position will provide opportunities to gain experience and make contributions in the area of data management, collection, and analysis as well as educational and psychological measurement. Publication of data and research findings will be expected. Qualifications PhD in statistics education, mathematics education, curriculum and instruction, or related area (cannot be hired before successful defense of candidate's dissertation) Research interest/experience in teaching and learning of statistics Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to pass a background check to interact with children in public schools Ability to travel as needed Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in R programming language Experience working in the K–12 educational system Knowledge of best practices in educational and psychological measurement Background in quantitative research and evaluation that supports causal inference Contact Info For more information or questions, please contact Dr. Robert Schoen ()
