Are you a seasoned developer passionate about tackling complex challenges and shaping the future of EDI technology? We're seeking a talented EDI Migration Lead Developer
to join our dynamic team in Itasca, IL, for a rewarding full-time opportunity.
In this role, you'll be a key player in our mission to migrate a large EDI system from OpenText EDI to IBM Sterling B2B Integrator. You'll leverage your expertise to:
Spearhead the migration process: Develop mapping specifications, create new EDI maps and communication profiles, and oversee thorough testing procedures.
Embrace innovation: Help us explore and implement cutting-edge solutions for automated map conversion and testing, streamlining the migration process.
Lead and mentor: Guide a team of developers in India and provide valuable insights to R&D teams developing automation tools.
Ensure quality and efficiency: Write clear technical documentation, conduct rigorous unit testing, and contribute to a smooth go-live transition and post-launch support.
To thrive in this role, you'll possess:
Strong grasp of EDI solution architecture and EDI formats (various X12 and EDIFACT standards)
In-depth knowledge of IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (Standard/Enterprise Edition)
Proven experience leading successful EDI migration projects (not just implementations)
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Bonus points for:
Experience with Eliassen.com, a custom software add-on for IBM
Understanding of CMMI and ISO 27001 compliance standards
