eCornell Online Course Facilitators - Marketing: Market Research, Social Media, Digital and AI Marketing Our mission at eCornell is to extend the reach and impact of Cornell, delivering high quality educational opportunities to individuals who might otherwise never be able to access them and to extend the reach and impact of Cornell to underserved audiences. eCornell delivers online professional certificate programs to individuals and organizations around the world. Certificates are designed and developed as a collaborative effort between Cornell University faculty and eCornell's professional instructional design and development teams.
eCornell offers more than 160 Certificates in a wide range of topics, including leadership and management, data science, engineering, marketing, technology, human resources, healthcare, hospitality, and more. New programs are being launched constantly. Short courses (most are 2-weeks) with small cohorts are designed to be interactive, and to help learners gain skills they can immediately apply in their organizations.
As a credible expert with applied experience in the associated fields, the eCornell Course Facilitator plays a key role in delivering the value of the eCornell courses. Along with content from Cornell University faculty in high-production value courses, the Course Facilitators enhance and augment a complete learning experience for students.

- Digital and AI Marketing
- Paid Digital Media
- Digital Marketing Plan
- Digital Platform Strategy
- Marketing & Digital Transformation
- Social Media and Influencer Marketing
- Social Media Campaigns, Measurement, and Profitability
Compensation: This position is a part-time role with an allowance amount of $400.00 - $600.00 per 2-week course facilitated. Hired eCornell Course Facilitators will: Become Cornell University part-time casual employees, with flexible course facilitation assignments through the year. Be provided with extensive on-boarding support prior to being assigned courses. Upon successful completion of onboarding, have the opportunity to facilitate approximately 1-4 course sections/month. Share your applied experience in the field with working adults from around the world through daily engagement in the course. Encourage sharing of reflection and information by students using online platforms. Assess and provide relevant, individualized, and comprehensive feedback for students on assignment s in a timely manner. Collaborate with appropriate eCornell staff to contribute to continuous improvement and student engagement as needed in a responsive manner. Provide a positive and engaging learning experience for students. Required Qualifications: Relevant undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited institution (or non-US equivalent) and at least 3 or more years of experience in fields relevant to the program area(s) of interest. Graduate degree preferred. Comfortable using technology effectively for learning, communication, instruction, and/or coaching. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely. Additionally , preferred qualifications include: Online instructional experience. Ability and qualifications to facilitate courses in eCornell certificates beyond those programs listed. Please note: There is no VISA sponsorship or relocation assistance available for these positions, and facilitators need to be current U.S. residents as their primary residence. All work for this role must be conducted within the United States. Please ensure the accuracy of all provided application materials. The tools required to do this job are all web-based and will be provided upon hire.
