Economic Development Administrative & Marketing Coordinator Location Hybrid remote in Pilot Point, TX : About us The Pilot Point Municipal Development District is committed to fostering economic growth, enhancing the quality of life, and preserving the unique character of our community. Office setting Hybrid remote work schedule Growth opportunities Marketing Support: Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies to promote economic development initiatives.Create and maintain engaging content for various marketing channels, including social media, newsletters, and the organization's website. Coordinate the production of marketing materials, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.Collaborate with local businesses and stakeholders to gather content and showcase success stories.
Administrative Assistance: Provide administrative support to the economic development team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
Assist in organizing and coordinating events, workshops, and other community engagement activities. Maintain organized records, databases, and files related to economic development projects. Prepare and distribute reports, presentations, and other relevant documents as needed. Communication and Outreach: Serve as a liaison between the economic development office and local businesses, community partners, and residents. Respond to inquiries from the public and provide information about economic development programs and initiatives. Support the development and implementation of communication plans to enhance community awareness. Data Management: Collect, organize, and analyze data related to economic development projects and initiatives. Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations based on data analysis. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data in the economic development office's systems. ```Requirements``` Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Strong knowledge of social media platforms and website management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarlity with basic graphic design tools. Skill in effective oral written communications. Knowledge of Adobe Suite Acceptable Equivalency: Any combination of training and experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required.
