CBRE is seeking a Technical Program Product Manager II that is a subject matter expert ( SME ) in Construction Engineering & Program Management to support CBRE Global Realty Engineering ( GRE ) on Enterprise Building Management Systems ( EBMS ) Team.
1. Candidate will use expertise in construction management to review proposals to comply with CBRE's Request for Proposal ( RFP ), pinpoint scope gaps and avoid potential future change orders. Programs will target reduced to zero change orders. Candidate will use lessons learned in Program Cost Control ( PCC ) to update client's RFP for future programs.
2. Establishing communication and coordination across a program's 3P contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
3. Requesting and reviewing MOPs (Method of Procedure) for proper detail, necessity, and risk.
4. Updating/tracking Gantt Chart with granular tasks required in deployment. EBMS Team has created the Gantt tracking tool as a mechanism to prevent late BMS delivery and allowing for other key stakeholders to have access to progress of program
5. Identify/Tracking/resolving the risks/roadblocks that may occur in the EBMS Retrofit Program.
6. Lead the weekly progress meetings with 3P Contractors, record meeting minutes & distribute to team and log any new action items in Gantt.
7. Identify and lead communications & collaborations with site Ops Tech IT on tasks for EBMS retrofits
8. Identify and lead communications & collaborations with site POCs on kick-off calls, aligning on roles & responsibilities, coordinating construction schedule start dates, coordinating on collecting data for occupied & unoccupied schedules so that EBMS can be programmed for turning equipment off during unoccupied times.
Basic Qualifications:
1. Completed bachelor's degree in 4yr engineering program
2. > 5 years experience in Building Automation Controls industry
3. > 3 years experience in Construction Project Cost Control (i.e. Favorable Construction Budget Forecast vs Construction Actual Spending)
4. > 5 years experience in Construction Estimating or Controls Estimating
5. Experience with mechanical systems including RTUs and building management systems.
6. > 5 years experience in Construction Industry or Consulting Engineering role
7. Experience with construction specification division 00, 23, 26
8. Gantt chart tracking of program level initiatives
9. Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. PMP Certified
2. > 10 years experience in Construction, Engineering/Consultant Engineering or Facilities
3. Six Sigma Certification
4. Experience managing Programs across multiple time zones and culture
5. Experience with remote team management and coordination
6. Good track record of working effectively with across different groups in the organization
7. Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done
8. Experience with project management principles and best practices.
9. Meets/exceeds CBRE's leadership principles requirements for this role

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the EBMS Construction Program Manager position is $110,000.00 annually and the maximum salary for the EBMS Construction Program Manager position is $120,000.00 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
