May perform emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, or installing light bulbs or fuses. Drives standup and sit down electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as a forklift to move product in/out of warehouse. May be required to supply workers with materials and supplies as needed.
Key Responsibilities: 1.
Drive truck to destination maneuvering vehicle in difficult situations such as narrow passageways
2.
Hook and unhook trailers several times during shift 3.
Operate powered industrial lifts
4.
Operate forklift in accordance with company policy
5.
Positions forks under loaded pallets or tote boxes and transports load to designated area.
6.
Unload and stack material by raising or lowering lifting device.
Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Valid CDL and ability to pass a DOT physical Have or be able to obtain McCain Forklift Certification and McCain Aerial Lift Certification 2 years clean driving experience using CDL, forklift experience preferred Computer, language, and mathematical skills Physical Demand: Constant: Reach with hands and arms.
Frequently: Stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stoop kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
Occasionally: Climb or balance and taste or smell.
