The Early Career Talent Programs Sr. Manager will drive the development and execution of our E arly C areer programs: U niversity recruiting (RL U-Connect), RL internship program (RL Inspire), and R otational program (RL Iconic), to expand our early career talent pipeline . The Early Career Talent Programs Sr. Manager will collaborate cross-functionally with Functional Leaders, People Partner Generalists, Talent Acquisition , Learning & Development, and Diversity Equity & Inclusion teams across the organization to manage and e volve the university undergraduate recruitment strategy and continue to evolve our programs in alignment with future talent needs to be connected to our business. ?
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
??? This is a flex place opportunity. The ideal candidate will be available to commute within New Jersey & and New York offices frequently .
? Partner with Talent leaders to understand business needs and develop a recruitment strategy, to attract d iverse, top talent who will thrive in a high-growth, globally nuanced company environment .
? Identify , launch, and nurture external partnership programs ensuring sourcing effective strategies through targeted resources ( campus events, university career centers, professional organizations, etc.).
? In partnership with the Early Career Program Sr. Associate drive the full-life cycle recruiting process for campus hires, partnering closely with RL recruiting team to evolve the selection model that will ensure we are bringing top talent to RL that will excel in our fast-paced environment.
? Provide a consistent and positive leadership presence for all early career program participants throughout their experience, bringing guidance & mentorship to e nsure successful functional rotations .
? Manage the internship experience from onboarding, learning sessions, and full-time candidate conversion, including manager guidance, mid-point reviews, final assessments, and follow-ups , partnering with the People Partner Generalist as necessary.
? Develop and evaluate metrics, provide insight-based recommendations for actions to maximize results, and demonstrate how efforts have increased the pipeline and overall success of programming and initiatives to realize ROI.
? Champions diversity internally and externally by approaching early career programming with DE & I acumen across all elements and experiences.
? Coach, consult, and influence RL leaders on early career talent best practices, processes, and programs.
? Partner with Regional teams to share best practices for Early Career Programs ??
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
?? Proven skills and expertise with organizational programs, project management or related areas, including managing and prioritizing multiple projects and priorities and client relationships.
? Experience supporting internship, university, early career, or employee-related program.
? Established network in the retail landscape, including relationships with universities and early career partner organizations preferred.
? Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and present (in person, virtual, written, and oral)
? Customer satisfaction focus, consultative skills and experience influencing and collaborating .
? Strong relationship management skills and acumen in a highly cross-functional environment.
? Ability to align various stakeholders towards a common vision and goal.
? Proven track record of effectively partnering with leaders at all levels as a strategic partner.
? Prior experience Designed and executed successful outreach events preferred.
? Self-directed and possess exemplary presentation and communication skills. • Experience working across and prioritizing concurrent projects, good time management skills. • Experience in pivoting quickly and adapt to business needs and changing landscape to stay best in class. ?
