Job Title: Drainage Technician
Location: Martinsburg, WV
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Drainage Technician to join our team. The Drainage Technician will be responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of drainage systems. This position does not require a license but requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the installation of drainage systems, including pipes, drains, catch basins, and culverts. Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, flushing, and inspecting drainage systems to ensure proper functioning. Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting drainage issues, such as clogs, leaks, and drainage problems. Perform repairs on drainage systems, including replacing damaged pipes, repairing leaks, and clearing obstructions. Operate equipment and tools safely and effectively, including drain snakes, power augers, and pressure washers. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members. Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and supervisors to provide updates on project status and address any concerns. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports, equipment logs, and inventory records. Qualifications:
Previous experience in drainage work or a related field is preferred but not required. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take direction from supervisors. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools used in drainage work. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in outdoor environments. Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Plus Benefits
