Drafter Engineering Assistant

We are looking for a new member to join our team of draftsmen. You will work closely with the other drafters in Canada and be the central drafting person in our Greenville factory.
If you have a background in industrial or building design and you want to work with a team of engineers and designers specialized in building, architecture and mechanics, we have a position for you that will allow you to express your talent in all its grandeur. You will be required to communicate frequently with other drafters, designers and project managers on our team. You must be EFFICIENT, RIGOROUS and have an EYE FOR DETAIL. Compatibility with the group and the interests of the person are more important than years of experience. Job briefPrepare the overall project drawing for approval by the client;Prepare manufacturing drawings;Generate laser cutting files;Produce drawings and sketches for fabrication and installation;Actively participate in the design of the various sections of the project (building mechanics, HVAC);Prepare BOM for the purchasing department;Review, inspect, and correct drawing package before production releaseAssist with engineering/quality tasks, data tracking, and product inspection.Skills that are required:Training in Industrial or Building  Drafting  or equivalent;1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position;Knowledge of Solidworks or 3D drawing;Knowledge of  Autocad 2D software is an asset;Knowledge of  REVIT software is an asset;Knowledge of manufacturing processes;Good knowledge of MS Office suite;Knowledge and experience with sheet metal (asset) To make you feel at home here, we offer:Competitive salary;Flexible schedule;Comprehensive group insurance (drug, health, vision, dental)401K program; Permanent, full-time position;Opportunities for advancement;Dynamic and passionate work team;Continuous training and upgrading on the software used.
