Job Summary
As a DOT Billing Specialist, you will handle property and damage claims for a selected State Department of Transportation, adhering strictly to our established guidelines. This role involves significant interaction with clients and team members, and meticulous preparation of reports.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Analyze information to correctly identify the billing party.
Input claim details into our proprietary software.
Manage communication with clients via email and phone.
Address internal information requests efficiently.
Maintain professional and courteous interactions with all stakeholders.
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive hourly rate
Bonus opportunities through a tiered support system:
Level 1 = $105
Level 2 = $150
Level 3 = $205
Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with employer match

$50 monthly internet service reimbursement

Requirements
Proven clerical experience (2+ years preferred)
High school diploma or GED
Excellent attendance and punctuality
Strong data entry, communication, and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
