We're hiring a Domestic International Logistics Coordinator to support our North American customers. This role entails managing orders, and logistics, and maintaining effective communication to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities :
Oversee timely, cost-effective, and secure movement of domestic and international freight throughout the supply chain. Prepare, distribute, and maintain shipping documents for domestic shipments, exports, and imports. Provide backup support in customer service, ensuring effective communication with team members and timely response to customer inquiries. Coordinate with sales team to meet customer expectations. International Orders:
Arrange bookings and update SAP with necessary information. Coordinate with production for scheduling equipment loading. Bulk Shipments:
Schedule carriers for multiple locations, ensuring continuous communication to avoid product shortages. Manage SAP updates and coordinate contingency plans if necessary. Domestic Orders:
Handle ExWorks customer shipments and manage freight cost updates in SAP. Coordinate third-party shipments and schedule carriers for dock productivity. Customer Service:
Enter orders in SAP and prepare bills of lading. Arrange expedited deliveries as needed. Review and file completed sales orders. Perform administrative tasks as required. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management preferred. 3-5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP. Experience in international logistics, customs procedures, and ISO standards. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong communication and organizational skills.
