Position Overview: The Documentation Specialist is responsible for the final review and processing of all customer documentation.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Maintenance of quality system records including filing, preparation of documents for scanning, scanning of documents, and verification of scanned documentation Status review of work orders to ensure that all operations have been completed and adequately documented using Good Manufacturing Practices. Production tracking/ inventory creation/ closing of work orders via the ERP system Creation of shipping documentation for all outgoing orders, including Packing Slip, Certificate of Conformance, and all documentation needed per customer, regulatory, and company requirements Final review of documentation for 100% accuracy, completion, and legibility, before providing to the customer. Other tasks may include but are not limited to the following: Review customer purchase orders and enter sales orders. Send Acknowledgement and Confirmation communications to customers. Assist in compiling work order packets by printing out existing blueprints and inspection sheets. Assist in maintaining open order status records. Assist with various tasks within the department as needed. Qualifications & Skills: Reliable attendance, punctuality, and flexibility are essential for this position. Excellent attention to detail in work required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to work independently and in team environment. Ability to stay focused and detail oriented in a fast paced, collaborative environment Computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Adobe required. ERP System knowledge is preferred (Sage X3 beneficial, not required). Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Schedule: Monday – Friday 9 -5:30pm
