**Job Summary:**
The District Sales Manager plays a vital role in building strategic relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM)/Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) accounts in our target vertical industries in the Southwest region. The District Sales Manager will ensure customer satisfaction of existing relationships and onboard new customers of a similar type, while achieving sales quota and account targets.
**Essential Job Functions:**
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop new OEM/ODM accounts and proactively identify opportunities to add value and strengthen customer relationships.
- Act as the key support for key account customer requirements and coordinate resources to win business.
- Establish ADLINK as a strategic partner by developing executive relationships.
- Understand customer needs deeply to reduce their total cost of ownership, mitigate business risks, and enhance their market position.
- Exceed assigned quarterly and annual quotas, including sales revenue, design win quantity, design win revenue, and new customer engagements.
- Expand into vertical industries by up-selling and cross-selling ADLINK's products and services.
- Provide prompt response to field questions and inquiries from customers.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through productive account calls, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Travel required for customer meetings, sales events, etc.
**Supervisory Responsibilities:**
Provide direct supervision to Key Account Manager(s), overseeing performance evaluation, professional development, and day-to-day leadership.
**Job Qualifications:**
**Education:**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent training.
**Experience:**
- Minimum of 5+ years' successful experience in key account management or similar roles managing OEM/ODM and Business-to-Business relationships in computer and electronic manufacturing companies.
- Proven track record of selling computer hardware solutions and building OEM/ODM customers.
**Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications:**
- Ability to forge and nurture executive-level relationships.
- Excellent in strategic selling and leading high-level sales engagements.
- Ability to generate leads, penetrate new accounts, and manage a pipeline.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Understanding of embedded systems, industrial PC (hardware and software) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving attitude and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of prospecting and closing new business.
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office Suite.
**Physical Demands and Work Environment:**
- Ability to operate general office equipment.
- Physical stamina for various tasks.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Travel required up to 50% for customer visits, events, etc.
