Position Overview: The District Sales Manager is responsible for managing sales operations and developing new business opportunities in the Truck Sales sector. This role requires a strategic, motivated professional with expertise in fleet management and dealership sales. You will oversee the Northeastern territory and must be willing to travel, having the ability to establish relationships with dealerships and major fleets within the territory.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, maximize profitability and grow market share in the truck sales industry Analyze market trends and customer requirements to identify potential opportunities Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute tactical plans Develop marketing campaigns to promote products, services and business goals Manage dealership sales operations and customer relationships Manage records for truck sales and track performance of campaigns Prepare delivery reports and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulations Travel to meet with clients and dealerships to discuss sales strategies Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive Sales or related field 5+ years of experience in sales, retail, automotive sales, or fleet management Demonstrated track record of success in meeting sales goals Excellent knowledge of dealership sales operations Proficiency in market analysis, marketing, delivery reporting and records management Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to travel up to 25% of the time Benefits Vacation/PTO Medical Dental Vision 401k Bonus Relocation Telecommute
