Job Summary: The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for managing all aspects of distribution, consisting in order fulfillment, and delivery. This includes ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, efficient delivery operations, and accurate inventory processes and controls.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage and supervise employees, including, training, coaching and performance evaluations Assist in the recruitment, hiring, training, and terminating processes as needed Abide by all Company operating polices Other responsibilities may be required based on business needs Duties/Responsibilities: Customer Service Communicate with customers before orders are scheduled for delivery, providing necessary information and delivery time windows. Work closely with the Sales Team to maximize customer satisfaction and address issues in a timely and professional manner. Identify ways to improve the customer experience. Order Delivery Coordinate, organize, and plan daily and future deliveries and transfers. Ensure orders are scheduled, properly prioritized, and accurately documented. Ensure delivery tracking boards are accurate and well organized. Supervise and provide leadership to a team of drivers, offering guidance, support, and training to enhance operational efficiency and positive team culture. Track product rejections, delivery reschedules, and any other delivery exceptions. Work Closely with the National Distribution Team to effectively allocate resources Work closely with Sales Team to maximize customer satisfaction Ensure all orders and are properly manifested in METRC Manage all important documents such as invoices, cash receipts, manifests, etc. Work with drivers and customers to resolve any issues Order Fulfillment Perform daily activities and responsibilities required to fulfill orders in a timely manner Oversee all outbound orders are accurate and properly documented Oversee picking and packing orders and ensure order accuracy Maintain a clean and organized picking and packing area Work closely with other departments including Case packaging, Compliance and Sales to maintain proper workflow and communication Routinely conduct cycle counts and properly document all inventory movement Oversee and manage fulfillment Team. Conduct routine cycle counts and oversee stock rotation procedures Develop and maintain SOPs related to order processing and management. Ensure a safe working environment and efficient space utilization . Oversee and evaluate stock rotation procedures using FIFO Ensure all order boxes are properly labeled with customer name, order number, box count and have Metrc tags included Ensure all orders are released and fulfilled prior to delivery date Oversee M etrc package creation and trouble shoot any errors with compliance team Adhere to all state regulations related to the storage and movement of inventory within the facility Required Skills/Abilities: Must be at least 21 years of age per state law? Excellent verbal and electronic communication skills Strong customer service skills Ability to perform under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize Has a high attention to detail and strong sense of organization Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes Able to operate and drive a company vehicle s Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED 5+ years management experience 2+ Distribution & Logistics experience 2+ years Inventory management experience Working knowledge basic software systems, including Microsoft Office Suites, G Suites, etc Working k nowledge of METRC and/or Leaf Link software - preferred Physical Requirements: A valid driver license is required Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Ability to lift 15 pounds or more A Livescan will be required EEOC: DreamFields is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
