Distribution Center Inventory Associate 3rd Shift Location Erlanger, KY : OVERVIEW Perfetti Van Melle (makers of Mentos and Airheads!) is one of the world's largest manufacturers and distributors of confectionery and chewing gum with global brands that are being enjoyed in more than 150 countries worldwide. We're currently seeking passionate and enthusiastic Distribution Center Inventory Control Associate to join our growing team.
Starting Pay: $21.00 plus $1.50 Shift Differential
Hours: Monday-Friday from 10:30pm - 7:00am
WHAT YOU WILL DO The cycle counter is responsible for performing counts that are focused on reacting to suspected errors and proactive counts to determine the health of the inventory control process. This role works at the direction of the inventory lead and scheduling.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Previous manufacturing experience is preferred Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Warehouse Practices Maintaining inventory accuracy metrics and associated reports Researching inventory discrepancies and making necessary corrections Tracking and reporting non-conforming products while resolving inventory problems in a timely manner Coordinate and integrate efforts across operational departments to enhance inventory accuracy Strong troubleshooting and problem analysis skills Excellent time management-managing one's own time and the times of others Work well with others in a team-oriented environment Ability to lift 50 pounds routinely While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms Flexibility, managing change in a positive direction Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision Speaking- Talk to others to convey information effectively Good computer skills, especially Excel, PPT, PBI and experience with SAP and WMS Ability to extend work hours when needed Ability to subtract, add, multiply and divide in all units of measure along with using a PC and Microsoft office Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
