Position Summary The Distribution Associate I will interact with the WMS, TMS, RF scanning devices and/or other warehouse equipment to perform a variety of basic distribution tasks in accordance with defined job processes to meet daily objectives. They will perform these tasks with a focus on safety, quality and productivity. Tasks can include receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, palletization, box-making, labeling and over-labeling of products.
Principal Responsibilities 1. Performs basic receiving & returns processing via SAP Gui and/or RF devices
2. Inspection of materials to make usage decisions- Inventory adjustments and transfer requirements
3. Performs kitting of instruments and re-boxing of materials for shipment and/or storage
4. Ability to Manually build cartons and/or load corrugate to Box Maker machines, as well as manage machine settings and supplies required for production runs
5. Utilize Bartender software to create and reprint product labels for shipping and/or storage.
6. Manage supplies required for storage and shipping of products
7. Utilize Carts to perform picking tasks and improve workflow requirements
8. Uses WMS (SAP) proficiency for picking, auditing and packing orders to meet delivery requirements to Customers
9. Sorting & verifying materials against transfer order during audit process
10. Identify errors and/or exceptions in receiving, shipping and returns and notifies Leads or support team for Resolution.
11. Interact with Conveyor system to move materials thru the warehouse processes.
12. Perform cycle count activity via SAP Gui and/or RF devices
13. Perform palletization and apply labels and tags to pallets prior to shipping according to defined warehouse processes.
14. Communicates with internal teams within warehouse to support distribution operations activity (QA, Inventory, Receiving and Returns)
15. Assists in training other associates as required.
16. Accurately document results of outbound audits upon completion.
17. Identify and communicate all problems, damages, and/or concerns regarding staged outbound shipments to Leads and/or support team.
18. Verify Documentation matches freight description.
19. Separate material and verify lot number and quantity matches paperwork
20. Proficient in using UPS ConnectShip to process parcel orders and LTL orders and generate outputs required for Shipping.
21. Other duties as assigned.


Education / Experience Requirements Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) Minimum 1-2 years of Warehousing or Manufacturing experience preferred. Must have ability to speak, read and write English. Specialized Skills / Other Requirements 1. Ability to work in a team environment, and work with minimal supervision.
2. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Also requires pushing and operating a pallet jack or carts.
3. Ability to read, write, and speak English
4. Communicate clearly and effectively with other employees in the distribution center.
5. Attention to detail and accuracy.
