Responsibilities
• Ensuring stores are supplied with ordered merchandise in a safe, timely, and efficient manner• Establishing productivity and quality goals• Assisting the General Manager with planning, budgeting, and expense control• Monitoring and evaluating key productivity indicators to control costs• Assisting with special projects and identifying best practices• Monitoring adherence to company standards• Assisting with hiring, training, and performance evaluations• Working with HR and management teams for disciplinary actions• Providing information and anticipating information needs of associates• Reviewing merchandise cuts, shortages, load quality, and maintaining inventory accuracy
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required• Bachelor's degree in business administration or logistics preferred• Minimum of six (6) years of distribution center operations management experience• Good working knowledge of distribution center practices and procedures• Strong leadership, administrative, organizational, and communication skills• Ability to assess, manage, train, mentor, and develop talent• Strong analytical ability and business acumen• Requires rapid decision making, problem solving, and accountability• PC skills including experience with warehouse management systems, MS Office Suite, and Internet-based applications• Spanish/English bilingual preferred
