Quickly and efficiently respond to incoming telephone callsDispatch animal ambulance, rescue, and investigation callsProvide outstanding customer service and maintain a positive attitude

Responsibilities
• Receive and log ambulance, rescue, and investigation calls• Provide outstanding customer service• Dispatch ambulance and investigation calls to officers• Monitor location and safety of officers on scene• Acknowledge and respond to two-way radio transmissions• Maintain logs of all dispatched calls• Assure radio and telephone equipment is in good working order• Answer incoming calls promptly and refer to appropriate departments• Facilitate return of seized animals to owners• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
• High school diploma/GED• Excellent public relations and customer service skills• Thorough knowledge and understanding of AHS departments and services• Knowledge of map reading and directions• Dispatch or call center experience preferred• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Explorer
