Join us today and experience Life at Visa.Job DescriptionVisa's Acceptance Risk Solutions team is seeking a dynamic product leader responsible for driving the Merchant Risk Solutions business from ideation through to execution. This position will establish and execute key initiatives and will ensure that the product vision, strategy, and roadmaps are closely aligned and well-articulated to customers, prospects, and partners, as well as internally within Visa including sales, marketing, other product managers, regional teams, consultant services teams, etc. The candidate will also partner with other cross-functional teams including technical and product development teams, which will be critical in achieving the team's goals.This leader will need to understand market dynamics, competitive trends, customers imperatives and gain internal and external feedback to inform product strategies including messaging and distribution via all channels and regions to drive optimal financial results for both the Merchant Risk product line and clients.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build great relationships, generate consensus, and promote excitement and enthusiasm around the vision, strategy and client priorities are critical qualities for success. This person will focus on working not only internally to deliver breakthrough results, but also externally evangelizing those results to the global marketplace. This person must intrinsically be a champion for Visa's risk products and promote usage within the company and to global clients. This position may require occasional travel to client sites and Visa locations around the globe.RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop vision, strategies and execution plans that elevate the Merchant Risk business and offerings, messaging and distribution across channels and regions to drive optimal financial results.Drive end to end product portfolio management including synthesizing market needs, gathering voice of customer, establishing product vision and strategy, creating roadmaps, executing plans, effectively communicating plans, enabling customers, etc.Collaborate with global and regional leadership, as well as sales and business development functions to define go-to-market strategies and develop integrated global roadmaps.Partner with other product managers, technical leadership, and product development teams to prioritize, plan, and deliver on initiatives and roadmap that supports global business strategy and enables growth.Represent the business and product management in client engagements and industry events. Evangelize the value and differentiation of the Acceptance Risk Solutions portfolio within the payment ecosystem.Evangelize and raise awareness of Merchant Risk Solutions across multiple audiences.Create compelling business cases to drive product growth and expansion.Influence partner and leader opinions through clear communication and persuasive presentations.Maintain a general awareness of fraud and risk solution market needs and risks.Maintain a working knowledge of Agile principles and participate in Agile processes such as creation of features and acceptance criteria.Direct management of small team with opportunity to grow.The ideal candidate will have significant experience in risk and fraud practices, merchant acquiring and merchant underwriting, the payments industry, product strategy, and in working through global partner distribution channels. The candidate must be a creative problem solver who works well in a highly collaborative environment, can bring structure to ideation teams, and has an ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.QualificationsBasic Qualifications10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD)You have prior experience in product strategy/product managementPreferred Qualifications12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD)10 plus years of experience in Product Strategy and or Management with increasing levels of demonstrated leadership responsibilitiesProven history of successfully creating product vision, strategies, and execution plans, gaining alignment for investment, and executing flawlesslyDirect experience driving the development, deployment, and configuration of solutions to meet market, industry and or client objectivesExperience evangelizing, marketing and commercializing products and solutions at scaleExperience building relationships and influencing positive change with internal and external stakeholdersStrong history in working with risk products that have had tangible and quantifiable benefits to customersExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written across all levels. Capable of simplifying complex concepts for all audiences.Strong understanding of payments, fraud, and authentication landscape and in working through global partner distribution channelsDirect experience with merchant risk and or portfolio risk solutions highly preferredManagerial experience prefeAdditional InformationWork Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
