Job summary
The Director of Youth Programs at the University of Georgia is responsible for overseeing and developing the youth programming portfolio at the Georgia Center.They will manage summer camps and enrichment programs, handle enrollment and budgeting, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for youth participants.The ideal candidate will have experience in camp management, grant writing, and youth development.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate year-round youth programming and provide support for daily tasks.• Research and execute new opportunities for sponsorships and collaborations.• Supervise youth staff and instructors, providing leadership and guidance.• Apply for and manage grant opportunities to support youth programs.• Assist with the strategic mission and goals of the Georgia Center.
Requirements
• Baccalaureate degree in a related field (minimum qualification).• Master's degree in a related field (preferred qualification).• Background in day and overnight camp management.• Education and expertise in working with youth.• Successful grant writing experience.• Partnership development skills.• Experience in establishing protocols for the safety of minors.• Budget management skills.• Active engagement or membership with the ACA.• Ability to communicate effectively, meet deadlines, and manage priorities.
