Responsibilities
• Manage and support the Wellness Department• Manage daily operations for the Resident Health Services Department• Hire, train, and schedule team members• Develop and coordinate service plans• Conduct resident assessments• Communicate with physicians, residents, and families• Ensure regulatory compliance• Support Memory Care Department• Oversee medication administration• Create team member assignments
Requirements
• Active New York State RN License• Knowledge of New York State Department of Health regulations• Four-plus (4+) years gerontological nursing and administration experience• Case Management experience• Excellent people skills• Successful management or supervisory methodology• Proficient computer skills• Experience in assisted living, home health, or a skilled nursing setting• Sense of humor, confidence, and composure-under-pressure
