Position Mission: Responsible for overseeing all phases of project and engagement management for multiple clients in a wide variety of industries. Responsibilities include planning, directing, and completing projects and services in valuations and developing and managing staff. Work closely with partners and staff and play a key role in client management, practice development, and business development for an assigned group of clients.
Primary duties & responsibilities: Oversee and apply business valuation approaches and methods to a variety of tangible and non-tangible assets, including equity valuations, option analyses, and purchase allocations. Plan, execute, direct and complete valuations for financial and corporate strategic buyers from a variety of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, non-profit, high-tech, real estate, and financial services. Ability to manage multiple priorities and simultaneous projects in a rapidly growing practice. Demonstrate leadership, business development, recruitment, training and mentoring experience. Oversee the assembly, maintenance, and finalization of working papers that support valuations. Assist clients by leading teams that apply traditional and cutting-edge valuation approached and methods to a variety of analyses. Required Education Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
Certifications ABV, ASA, CFA, MAI or related license/certification.
Skills and Experience 10+ years of Purchase price allocation and intangible asset valuation experience Knowledge of business valuation for all purposes including state and gift tax Knowledge of transaction analysis work.
