Director of Supply and Demand Planning Location Stoughton, WI : The Director of Supply and Demand Planning provides overall leadership of the Planning function including demand planning, inventory planning, Integrated Business Planning (IBP), capacity planning, and master production scheduling. Essential duties & responsibilities:
Successfully deliver department objectives by coaching, motivating and developing the Supply Chain Planning team. Lead the Integrated Business Process (IBP) to create an integrated plan that delivers financial results. Develop/implement inventory strategies to achieve service level goals and optimal inventory levels; monitor the performance of inventory policies. Deliver optimized finished goods and packaging materials inventory levels balancing service, cost, and obsolete inventory. Optimize capacity plans and production schedules ensuring processes are in place to identify potential gaps. Identify and implement supply chain improvement projects to deliver continuous improvement for the entire function. Recommend improvements to optimize supply chain performance utilizing tradeoff analysis and scenario planning. Track and meet critical KPIs. Collaborate with sales, customer service and logistics to proactively identify and resolve key customer service issues. Oversee the demand planning process; provide analytics to continuously improve the forecast and drive accountability. Create material planning strategies and ensure execution at the facilities. Collaborate with Supply Chain & Manufacturing leaders to provide Pareto analysis on opportunities to improve schedule achievement and consistency. Oversee all planning related business processes and ensure optimal use of the ERP system. Qualifications/minimum requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required; Master's Degree preferred. 10+ years of related Supply Chain and/or Operational experience in roles of increasing responsibility. Experience in supply planning, demand planning or leading IBP and/or S&OP. Excellent communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Highly skilled in building relationships, influencing others, leading change and developing talent. Knowledge of continuous improvement methodology; experience identifying improvement opportunities and leading teams to complete projects. Proven record of delivering results. Ability to work collaboratively across functions and obtain necessary "buy in" from stakeholders. Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
