We are seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to lead the sales team for our growing companies.In this role, you will be responsible for the growth and expansion of the company's sales and market shares, being a leader in the industry. Building a world-class sales team while establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships.Responsibilities:Lead, direct, coach, motivate, and guide the efforts and development of the Sales Team to achieve Company sales objectives, maximize market share, and improve Team performance.Building and maintaining a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads to develop and build.Prioritize and develop relationships and business plans with key Business Partners and Retailers.Execute business plans and sales programs driven by Vendor Development strategies.Collaborate and provide leadership on Team conference calls and Quarterly Sales Meetings with the Sales Team.Coach the Team by sharing information, ideas, selling techniques, business opportunities, and best practices through data utilization.Working with the Marketing Operations and appropriate members of the Marketing Team to transition prospects.Maintain detailed reports of all sales activities including outreach, meetings, proposals, contracts, close rates, and any client or vendor feedback, as necessary.Communicate pipeline activity to the CEO, President, and Director of Operations.Providing annual, quarterly, and monthly sales forecasts.Being a leader in the food and pet food ingredient markets is strongly desired.Embodying the ResourceOne Global values, and representing those in the marketplace: Trusting, Entrepreneurial, Accountable, Motivated, Collaborative, Exceptional, Respectful, and Unrelenting.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Five to seven years of professional sales experience in the pet, animal, or food markets.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Agricultural Business, Agriculture Economics, or similar plan of study.Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of an organization, both internally and externally.An initiative-taker with strong professional interpersonal skills.Ability to manage and effectively read a room.Highly collaborative with the ability to work cross-functionally.Creative thinker with a problem-solving attitude.Strong organizational skills with the ability to schedule others.About Company:Integrated Proteins™ is recognized as an industry leader in sourcing and trading rendered pet food proteins.
