Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain performance standards and pursue goals, objectives, and activities that promote the mission, vision and value statement of the College. Provide oversight and supervision for institutional planning, achievement/outcomes of strategic planning priorities, goals, and objectives, scorecard updates, research, assessment, and evaluation strategies. Assist in planning for institutional planning, research, and assessment strategies as directed by senior administrative staff and the Chancellor. Develop and execute a comprehensive and ongoing plan to the collection of feedback for improvement needs around student satisfaction and graduate satisfaction, advisory board satisfaction, employer satisfaction, and placement/employment of students/graduates. Develop reports for annual outcomes of the achievement of goals and objectives on the college's strategic plan. Oversee the collection, management, and analysis of institutional data related to student enrollment, retention, graduation rates, institutional surveys, course evaluations, and other relevant metrics. Oversee the collection of data (enrollment, retention, partnerships, net revenue, etc.) for annual Program Health Index (PHI) reports. Conduct assessments, analyzes and disseminates quantitative and/or qualitative data in report form to college decision makers on topics related to students served to include but not limited to educational issues, enrollment, transfers, retention, and other student performance indicators. Assist in coordinating the annual planning processes with the annual budgeting process as budgets relate to unit plans or additional assessment needs. Facilitate the compilation of surveys and assessment requests and the preparation of specialized reports related to state, federal, and accrediting compliance. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accrediting agency regulations related to institutional research, assessment, and reporting. Collaborate with academic departments, administrative units, faculty committees, and senior leadership for address research and assessment needs priorities. Communicate research findings, assessment results, and institutional performance data to internal and external stakeholders through presentations, publications, and other channels. Assist with the development, implementation, monitoring, and revision of policies and procedures relating to institutional research, planning, and comprehensive assessment activities. Supervise the duties and responsibilities of the Institutional Research Analyst and of additional departmental staff when applicable. Foster, demonstrate, and actively participate in a culture of mutual respect for students, guests, and co-workers from all backgrounds, perspectives and abilities. Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and supervisors and utilize appropriate channels of communication within the college community concerning procedures and/or inquiries. Attend and participate in scheduled activities, which include graduation, open house/recruiting events as assigned, convocation, and required meetings. Share ideas and information, and work toward common department and College goals. Serve on college committees as a member or as chair. Serve on search committees. Participate in professional development activities that enhance effectiveness (convocation, LCTCS conference, etc.). Represent the college in a manner that promotes a professional and positive image. Adhere to College and LCTCS policies. Embrace college culture. Complete all required trainings prior to deadlines (Fletcher, LCTCS, etc.). Perform other duties as assigned. Required Education : Master's degree or higher from an accredited university.


Required Experience : Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in institutional research, assessment, data management or related areas within a higher education setting. Demonstrated proficiency in quantitative and qualitative research methods, statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS), data visualization tools (e.g., Tableaux, Power BI), and database management systems (e.g.; Access. Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills. Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets. Experience with managing multiple projects, problem solving, and working with diverse groups. Ability to assist in the development of written reports to include conclusions and recommendations based on factual and objective analysis. Understands the mission of technical and community colleges.
