The Role We are in search of a detail-oriented Director to lead The Florida Prosperity Project to join our client. The ideal candidate will lead efforts focused on fostering economic prosperity and growth, including building and nurturing relationships, expanding the Prosperity Advisory Board, coordinating events and speakers, and providing insights on economic policy and data. This role is integral to our mission of advancing prosperity and cutting childhood poverty in half as outlined in our 2030 Blueprint.
Responsibilities Relationship Building:
Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and potential members of the Prosperity Advisory Board, donors, funding agencies, and other stakeholders to cultivate partnerships, enhance the organization's standing, and explore collaborative opportunities. Maintain thorough records of interactions and pertinent documentation within our client's Customer Relations Management (CRM) system. Organize Prosperity Advisory Board meetings and related events both in-person and virtually. Prosperity Outreach Coordination:
Coordinate speakers for our client's events, conferences, webinars, and other outreach initiatives. Manage logistics for speaker travel and engagements. Assist in crafting social media content and other promotional materials to raise awareness of prosperity initiatives driven by the company and its partners. Collaborate with our client's Policy and Marketing teams to ensure alignment with key policies and promote prosperity efforts through various channels. Partner with stakeholders to drive positive economic change at the local level. Prosperity Content Development:
Assist in developing presentation materials for events, webinars, and outreach endeavors. Draft communications to Prosperity Advisory Board members, stakeholders, and partners. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for presentations and reports. Continuous Improvement and Other Duties:
Pursue professional development opportunities to stay abreast of industry best practices. Stay informed about economic policies and trends at both state and national levels. Support the EVP of our client on all Prosperity focused efforts as required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field. Previous experience in economic development, community engagement, policy analysis, or related areas. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in written communication across various mediums (email, memos, social media). Strong attention to detail, project management abilities, and organizational skills. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks and projects. Passion for the organization's mission and a commitment to advancing our client's 2030 Blueprint. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Demonstrated success in fundraising and donor engagement. Previous experience in nonprofit organizations.
