The City of Gadsden is currently accepting applications for a Director of Parks & Recreation/Sports. This is a full-time position with benefits. The salary range for this position is $64,985.04 - $85,746.38.

Purpose of Position :
The purpose of this position is to plan and direct the day-to-day operations of the Parks and Recreation Department. Duties include, but are not limited to: supervising staff, coordinating plans, developing policies and procedures, and performing additional tasks as assigned by the Mayor.
Special Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Administration or a related field with a minimum of seven to ten years of progressive experience.
