Director of Nursing
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director of Nursing! The Director of Nursing will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to all residents. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing operations, including staff supervision, policy development, and resident care assessments.
Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership and supervision to all nursing staff in the facility, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
* Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to promote quality care and compliance with industry standards.
* Oversee the hiring, training, and continued employment of nursing staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels and ongoing skill development.
* Monitor and evaluate nursing employee conduct, providing guidance and disciplinary action as needed.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of resident health needs, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
Requirements:
* Current State Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
* 3 years of experience as a Director of Nursing in long-term care settings.
* Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience, demonstrating strong leadership and supervision skills.
* Evidence of strong organizational and communication skills, with a commitment to promoting a positive work environment.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to achieve optimal resident outcomes.
* Proficiency in computer applications related to nursing management and documentation.
