We offer skilled nursing services tailored to individual needs for those with memory care, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, hospice, assisted living, or recovery care needs.
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as the Director of Nursing. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and fostering a positive and collaborative working environment for nursing staff. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-4 years experience in a healthcare setting. Active RN licensure is required in state of Missouri.
Responsibilities: Leadership and Management:
Provide strategic leadership for the nursing department, setting and implementing policies, procedures, and goals aligned with the organization's mission. Manage and lead nursing staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence in patient care. Clinical Oversight:
Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate patient care in accordance with established standards and regulations. Collaborate with medical staff, interdisciplinary teams, and other departments to optimize patient outcomes. Quality Assurance:
Develop and implement quality assurance programs to monitor and evaluate nursing care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and accreditation requirements. Budget and Resource Management:
Develop and manage the nursing department budget, allocating resources efficiently and effectively. Collaborate with other departments to optimize resource utilization and ensure cost-effective operations. Education and Training:
Provide leadership in the development and implementation of ongoing education and training programs for nursing staff. Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and advancements in nursing care. Communication:
Foster open and transparent communication within the nursing department and across the organization. Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, administration, and other departments. Requirements: Education and Licensure:
Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration strongly preferred. Current, unrestricted nursing license in Missouri. Experience:
Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance, and quality improvement. Skills:
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to make critical decisions, solve problems, and manage crises effectively. Proficient in using healthcare management software and technology.
