Shift: Full-Time
Salary: $99,000 - $145,000 per year (based on experience)
Bonus: Up to 15% annual bonus, based on performance KPIs
Sign-On Bonus: Can be requested upon offer stage
Relocation Assistance: Available for candidates living more than 50 miles from the facility
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to manage the financial and clinical operations of our assigned areas. This role involves recommending qualified staff, integrating departmental services with the hospital's primary functions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies. You will also develop and implement policies and procedures, supervise nursing staff, and evaluate new services and programs.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the financial and clinical operations of assigned areas. Recommend and ensure competent staff to provide patient care. Integrate departmental services with the hospital's primary functions. Coordinate and integrate services within departments. Develop and implement policies and procedures to support service provision. Supervise nursing staff and ensure staff competency. Develop, market, implement, and evaluate new services and programs. Participate in outside source selection for needed services. Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. Provide orientation, in-service training, and continuing education for department staff. Assume the duties of the Associate Nursing Executive or Administrative Coordinator as assigned. Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science degree required, Master's preferred. Licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state of practice or hold an active compact license. Certification in area of specialty preferred. BLS required; ACLS optional. Minimum of 5 years of current clinical nursing experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Clinical Manager. At least 2+ years of Director-level experience in a Med Surg unit or 5+ years of strong manager-level experience in a Med Surg unit. Must have a BSN. Reports to the ACNO. Additional Information
