Responsibilities
• Recruiting, hiring, and training employees• Handling employee relations and adverse actions• Required reporting such as EEOC and payroll-based journaling• Compensation administration and compliance• Overseeing payroll within the community• In-service education• Overseeing recordkeeping• Leading an HR team
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in HR management or related field• 5-10 years of HR experience with 3 years in a leadership role• SHRM certification preferred• Experience working in a retirement community or healthcare setting desired• Knowledgeable on current employment laws• Proficient in computer applications• High-quality communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to develop, interpret, and administer policies and procedures
