Salary: $108,573 to $135,716

About PSRS/PEERS PSRS/PEERS is the largest defined benefit pension plan in Missouri with approximately 307,000 members. We work in partnership with Missouri public school districts to provide retirement security for Missouri's public school teachers and education employees.
Most of our 169 employees work out of our Jefferson City office, located at 3210 West Truman Boulevard. Our office is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. We provide state-of-the-art technology and security, with comfortable, ergonomic working spaces and collaborative areas throughout the building. Employees enjoy ample on-site parking and a flexible, family friendly work environment.
About the Job As our Director of Human Resources, you will supervise our human resources team and participate in, or oversee, all human resources-related functions including recruitment, benefits, compensation, training, performance evaluation and personnel matters.
You will coordinate employee recognition programs, special events and our tuition reimbursement program, in addition to maintaining personnel files and records in accordance with laws, regulations and policies.
Our Director of Human Resources is expected to analyze industry trends, manage and make recommendations for updates and improvements to our personnel policies, procedures and practices, and assist with future benefits design.
They serve as a confidential resource for our managers and employees on employment, benefits and personnel issues.
This position reports to our Chief Operating Officer.
Job Requirements Our ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or a related field with at least five years of professional human resources experience. An MBA and experience with Oracle HRIS are preferred.
