Scope of Role: Actively work with the Accounting team to cover general ledger, financial reporting, registrations/taxes (including 1099 prep and distribution), and accounts payable. Assisting with year-end financial audit activities, preparing PBC schedules, reviewing staff submissions, and the annual corporate financial audit. Managing a range of journal entries that will need to be managed, including debt, payroll, credit card accruals, all AP accruals, revenue including deferrals, amortization, earnout, banking, and working capital true-ups Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness, including timely delivery and participation in doctor/partner review meetings. As part of our continual improvement process for quality assurance, assessments of current practices and procedures will be undertaken, which includes making recommendations for improvements. The role will also involve a working knowledge of payroll and benefits, including 401K programs, to provide accounting expertise to Human Resources. Play a pivotal role in bringing together the components of our annual budgeting process, incorporating audits, checks, and validation processes. Overseas and monitor the development of our Team through managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree / MBA in Accounting and/or Finance.
Experience in Multi-site healthcare would be bonus CPA preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory experience a plus Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with other financial systems beyond QuickBooks. Willingness to become a subject matter expert in the company's systems and suggest new systems.
