Full job description Our client, a growing company in Greenville, SC, dedicated to excellence and innovation in logistics and transportation, is looking to hire a Director of Field Operations.


The Director of Field Operations will offer visible operational leadership, overseeing a top-performing team to maintain peak standards in safety, quality, innovation, and operational excellence across the entire field operations division.


This remote-first position requires traveling up to 50% of the time and a few days a month in the Greenville, SC, headquarters.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTION Proactively manages the field team to address performance gaps. Ensures compliance with safety policies and procedures. Holds teams accountable for project delivery. Provides feedback on resource demand for efficient project execution. Assign staff based on skills, experience, and project requirements. Works with HR to supplement project staffing. Monitors and improves employee morale. Conducts regular site visits to uphold standards and culture. Leads by example, prioritizing safety and quality in all outcomes. Demonstrates strong leadership and managerial skills. Collaborates effectively with key stakeholders to optimize team composition. Drives continuous improvement and challenges the status quo.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS BS/BA in business administration or relevant field preferred. Proven experience as Director of Operations or equivalent. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Knowledge of industry legal regulations and in-depth understanding of diverse business functions. Working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics. Familiarity with MS Office and business software. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time. Certifications:
OSHA Construction Certification (30 Hours). OSHA #511 OSHA Standards for the General Industry (26 Hours). OSHA #7500 Introduction to Safety & Health Management (5.5 Hours). OSHA #7505 Introduction to Incident (Accident Investigation) (7.5 Hours).
