Role Overview:
As an Email Marketing Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between leadership and our project execution teams. Working closely with Website Managers, Marketing Directors, Account Managers, and Creatives, you'll report directly to the Manager of Project Management.
Your main responsibilities will include supervising progress, defining goals, and developing timelines to keep our projects on track. Additionally, you'll serve as the primary owner of our email program, responsible for strategy, execution, optimization, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead project planning, prioritization, and task assignment for multiple marketing brand teams.
Oversee the execution of all email marketing campaigns and track their respective KPIs.
Activate new and existing audiences using a variety of platforms, ensuring consistent engagement and identifying behavioral patterns.
Foster collaboration among team members while providing full visibility and autonomy.
Manage shifting priorities and remove any obstacles to ensure timely project completion.
Monitor project dependencies, breakthroughs, and performance metrics, providing regular status reports to leadership.
Drive email channel performance through effective strategy, segmentation, and personalization to achieve business objectives.
Manage the email marketing process end-to-end, collaborating with marketing and IT teams from project initiation to completion.
Maintain and update the email marketing calendar to align with marketing efforts and deadlines.
Innovate new engagement strategies for the email channel.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Strong experience with ESP platforms and deliverability best practices.
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a project manager, with a focus on email marketing.
Proficiency in project management methodologies such as agile, waterfall, and scrum.
Familiarity with marketing project management tools and systems.
Knowledge of digital marketing production processes is preferred.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in a startup or small company environment is preferred.
