Responsibilities
• Coordinate CDBG activities and operations• Develop long term community development plans• Administer CDBG Annual Action Plan process• Supervise and train department employees• Research and apply for additional grant funding• Compile and prepare invoices, purchase orders, and vouchers• Maintain program files and databases• Provide information and assistance to the public• Prepare reports and make presentations as needed• Assist in the development of short and long-term goals
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in urban planning, geography, architecture, political science, public administration, economics or closely related field• 2 years of education and experience in relevant field preferred• 2 years municipal experience preferred• 2 years administrative support preferred
